The ECK Special Education Cooperative has over 200 paraeducators throughout the eight participating districts. The paraeducators assist classroom teachers who work with children with disabilities. Paraeducators provide direct support to students with special needs in and out of the classroom by working with children one-one-one or in small groups. They also provide assistance and relative information to special education personnel as well as the individual students.
